Frequently Asked Questions

What forms of payment do you accept?

Credit, Debit, Apple pay, Google pay Gift cards and Cash. You may also use any cards that you may have stored on file upon booking.

Are kids or guests allowed in during my appointment?

Due to the size of the salon suite kids are currently not allowed during your appointment but being that this is a single parent owned business my goal is to be able to accommodate this in the future. There is a clean and comfy waiting area in the salon lobby with public WiFi for older children and guests if needed.

Will extensions damage my natural lashes?

No. At Piscean Touch we have a Master Lash Artist that has been trained to apply lash extensions correctly and properly. They are safe and do not damage the health of your natural lashes. However, it is very important to clean and refrain from rubbing your eyes or pulling on the extensions because you will risk pulling out your natural lashes prematurely.

What should I do in case of an allergic reaction?

Get prescription eye drops from a medical provider and contact me for a free lash removal after all symptoms have subsided after a few days. Getting a removal without being properly medicated will result in a painful lash removal experience since the skin will still be inflamed and too sensitive. You can develop a lash glue allergy at any time. Please be assured that I am trained to take every precaution in order to avoid bad glue reactions such as:

-sanitizing all tools in between each client

-making sure not to let the glue come in to contact with the skin

-using a clear adhesive free from carbon black

-using foam tape under eye pads made for sensitive skin

How long will my lashes last before I will need a fill?

If you wash your lashes every day with lash shampoo you should be able to go 2-3 weeks in between fills. Our eye lids naturally secrete oils to keep our lashes lubricated. These oils can build up along the lash line and loosen the lash glue adhesive. Cleaning away these oils along with any dirt will keep your lashes from falling out prematurely. We naturally shed 2-5 lashes daily so make sure to brush them daily in order to release any outgrown lashes that may be stuck among the neighboring lashes. If you wait days in between brushing you will think you have excessive lash loss when in reality it's just the accumulated outgrown lashes.

What type of lashes do you use?

We use faux mink lashes made from Korean PBT of which are 100% vegan, low carb and gluten free.

How should I care for my lash investment?

  • Do not use eyelash curler on your extensions.

  • Do not pull on any loose extensions.

  • Do not use mascara on your extensions.

  • Avoid/limit the use of oil base products which will weaken the bond between the extension and your lash extensions.

  • Avoid sleeping face down to prevent pressing against your lashes.

  • Cleanse your lash every evening using lash shampoo to prevent build-up from dirt and debris. Avoid baby shampoo. Cleanse your lash line brushing in the direction of the lashes.  Don’t scrub from side to side.

  • After cleaning it is best to pat them with a towel and allow them to air dry or you may use a hair dryer using cool setting to dry your lash.
